Refunds, fairly. Defined, defensible, documented.

We earn our fee by getting your case to embassy-ready, by holding embassy-grade quality across every document, and by training you for the conversation. We do not earn it from rejections.

This Refund Policy sets out, in plain language, the situations in which fees paid to Globaris Consulting("Globaris", "we") are refundable, the situations in which they are not, and exactly how to claim a refund. It applies to candidates and, where relevant, to employers and recruitment partners.

This policy applies to fees paid directly to Globaris under an Engagement Letter for any of the following Services:

• profile evaluation and case structuring;
• document engineering and visa-file preparation;
• employer / recruiter introductions and coordination;
• pre-submission training and mock interviews;
• post-arrival assistance package, where contracted as part of the engagement.

It does notcover any third-party charges (see "Non-refundable items" below) or amounts paid directly by you to embassies, employers, banks, courier services, attestation services or other third parties.

• Employer-side / recruiter-side failure: a rejection or non-deployment caused by issues that originate with the employer or recruitment partner. Examples include: documents issued by the employer being found defective or forged; the employer withdrawing the offer after submission with no candidate-side cause; the employer's licence or quota being suspended; recruiter-side misrepresentation of role, location or salary.
• Candidate-side cause: a rejection, delay or non-deployment caused by acts or omissions of the candidate. Examples include: undeclared prior visa rejections; failed biometric / medical examination; misrepresentation of work history, finances or family details; refusing to follow the agreed action plan; missing interviews or appointments; failing language or verification calls; declining the offer after issuance for personal reasons.
• Authority-side decision: a discretionary decision by an embassy, consulate, immigration or labour authority that is not attributable to either party (for example, a country-wide policy change mid-process).

Subject to the exclusions below, Globaris will issue a refund in the following situations:

1. Full refund (100%) of consulting fees

• Employer-side or recruiter-side rejection: visa is rejected, or deployment cancelled, where the documented cause is employer-side or recruiter-side as defined above.
• Pre-submission withdrawal by Globaris: if we decide, before submitting your case to the employer or embassy, that we cannot deliver the engaged Service to our quality standard for reasons unrelated to your conduct, and you do not wish to redirect the engagement.
• Service not commenced: if you formally cancel in writing within 7 days of payment and before any substantive case work has commenced (no profile-engineering session, no document drafting, no employer introduction).

2. Partial refund (pro-rata)

• Authority-side cancellation: where an embassy, consulate or government changes a country-wide policy mid-process and the engagement becomes objectively impossible to complete on the originally agreed pathway, we refund fees proportionate to work not yet performed and offer a credit toward an alternative pathway.
• Service not started for any milestone: where payments are milestone-based, fees attributable to a milestone that has not yet started may be refunded, less reasonable preparation costs incurred to that point.
• Mid-engagement termination by you for convenience: we refund fees that are clearly attributable to milestones not yet started, in line with the milestone schedule in your Engagement Letter.

3. Reapplication credit (no cash refund)

• Candidate-side rejection: where rejection or non-deployment is candidate-side, fees are not refunded, but we commit to full reapplication support without any additional consulting fee for one further attempt within 12 months. Third-party costs (visa, embassy, courier, attestation, etc.) for the reapplication remain payable by you.

The following amounts are not refundable under any circumstances:

• Embassy and visa fees (paid to embassies, consulates and visa application centres);
• Government charges (e.g. work-permit fees, biometric fees, immigration levies);
• Third-party fees: medical examinations, police clearances, attestation, notarisation, translation, courier, insurance and similar pass-through costs;
• Travel and accommodation arranged for you by us or by a third party at your request;
• Bank charges, payment-gateway fees, foreign-exchange losses incurred at the time of remittance or refund;
• Taxes, including any GST, VAT, withholding or other statutory charges already deposited with authorities;
• Any portion of fees relating to milestones that have been substantively performed — even if you choose to terminate before the next milestone.

We reserve the right to retain all fees paid, with no refund and no reapplication credit, in the following situations:

• you submitted forged, manipulated, or borrowed documents to us or to any third party;
• you concealed or misrepresented prior visa rejections, deportations, criminal records, debts, or any other material fact that we asked you to disclose;
• you abandoned the engagement without notice for more than 60 days, despite our written reminders;
• you attempted to bypass us and deal directly with our employer or recruitment partner in violation of the Engagement Letter;
• you used Globaris-prepared deliverables or templates to support a third party's case, in violation of our intellectual property rights;
• you engaged in threats, harassment, defamation, or unlawful conduct toward Globaris staff, our partners or any embassy officer in connection with your case.

Forfeiture is without prejudice to our right to recover further damages or pursue legal remedies.

Poland (Work-Visa Pathway)

• Payments are typically structured across milestones (e.g. Stage 1 / Stage 2 / Stage 3) — your Engagement Letter specifies the exact split.
• Stage 1 (profile evaluation and case structuring) is generally non-refundable once delivered, because the substantive work has been performed.
• Stage 2 (employer engagement and documentation) is refunded in full if the rejection is employer-side or recruiter-side.
• Stage 3 (visa file submission and pre-departure) is refunded in full if the rejection is employer-side or recruiter-side; not refunded if rejection is candidate-side.

Maldives (Resort & Construction Pathway)

• Roles are typically project-based; engagement timelines are shorter and fees are usually charged in fewer milestones.
• Where an employer issues an offer that is later withdrawn for employer-side reasons (project deferral, quota issue, licence issue), consulting fees are refunded in full and we offer an alternative role of similar standing where available.
• Where the candidate refuses an issued offer for personal reasons (e.g. island location, accommodation preference, currency split) after the role was correctly described in writing, consulting fees are not refunded — but reapplication support applies.

Employer / recruiter engagements

• Where Globaris is engaged by an employer or recruiter on a retained or per-deployment basis, refund terms are specified in the relevant Master Services Agreement and supersede this policy in case of conflict.

We have intentionally kept this process simple and human. To initiate a refund claim:

1. Send a written request to info@globarisconsulting.com with the subject line “Refund Request — <your full name>”.
2. Include the following information:
   • your full name as on passport;
   • your case reference / Engagement Letter number;
   • the country and pathway you engaged us for;
   • the cause of rejection or termination, with any supporting document (rejection letter, withdrawal notice, etc.);
   • the milestone(s) and amount(s) you are claiming a refund against;
   • the bank account details for the refund (account holder name, account number, IFSC / SWIFT, bank name, branch).
3. We will acknowledge the request in writing within 3 working days, and respond with a decision within 14 working days of receiving all supporting information.
4. Where a refund is approved, payment is processed within 21 working days of approval, by NEFT / RTGS / wire transfer to the account you nominate. Bank or foreign-exchange charges are deducted from the refund.
5. All refund decisions are recorded with reasons, in line with our internal grievance-handling process.

If you disagree with our decision on a refund:

1. Reply to the decision email within 15 calendar days, setting out the reasons for disagreement and attaching any further evidence.
2. Your case will be escalated to a senior partner of Globaris who was not directly involved in the original engagement. The senior partner will issue a final review within 21 working days.
3. If you remain dissatisfied, you may pursue the dispute under the dispute-resolution clause of our Terms & Conditions (negotiation → mediation → courts at Rohtak, Haryana).

You may also file a consumer complaint with the appropriate authority in India, including the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction over Rohtak. Nothing in this policy or our Terms restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.

• Refunds are issued in the same currency in which the original payment was received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Where a payment was received in foreign currency and converted to INR, the refund is issued in INR at the exchange rate prevailing on the date of refund processing — Globaris does not absorb foreign-exchange differences.
• Statutory taxes already deposited with the government (such as GST) are refunded only to the extent recoverable under applicable law.
• Payment-gateway fees, NEFT / RTGS / SWIFT charges and other bank costs incurred in processing the refund are borne by the refund recipient.

Where a force-majeure event (as defined in our Terms & Conditions) materially prevents performance, we will work with you in good faith to either (i) re-engineer your pathway to a different country or role, (ii) defer the engagement until the event ends, or (iii) refund fees attributable to milestones not yet performed. Force majeure is not, in itself, a basis for refunding fees attributable to substantively performed milestones.

We reserve the right to reject refund requests where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, including but not limited to duplicate claims, manufactured rejection letters, identity impersonation, or co-ordinated chargeback abuse.

If a chargeback is initiated by you with your card-issuer or bank for a payment that is not in dispute under this policy, we will contest the chargeback with full evidence, and you agree that any recovery costs we reasonably incur (including bank fees, legal fees and administrative time) may be deducted from any future amount otherwise payable to you, or claimed separately.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates apply prospectively to new engagements and to mid-engagement matters where the change is more favourable to you. The version of the policy referenced in your Engagement Letter governs that engagement unless we agree in writing to apply a later version.
